Accountant I
Natalie Lau serves as the Accountant I for Alabama Water Institution at The University of Alabama. Ms. Lau performs the accounting matters relating to AWI NOAA grant funds and supports central UA contract & Grant Accounting related to AWI grant funds. Ms. Lau worked for 8 years as Office Associate Senior for the Department of Mathematics at UA and she has experience with the University’s polices and procedures regarding departmental funds and grants. Moreover, her education and industry background include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from University of London in Hong Kong and over 15 years of accounting experience in private companies in Hong Kong before moving to the United States in 2012. In her free time, Natalie likes reading, playing with cats and travel.
