Summer Institute – CUASHI, NWC, and CIROH joined forces to support eight weeks of learning and professional development for people from around the country.AWI Symposium – AWI held its first symposium in four years which convened over 100 students, faculty, and industry professionals for a day of learning, sharing, and networking! This event included UA’s inaugural Water Career Fair!CIROH Science Meeting – CIROH hosted its second annual science meeting, where over 200 members from across the consortium convened in Tuscaloosa for reflection, planning, and networking.DevCon – CIROH hosted its inaugural Developer’s Conference, which took place at the University of Utah and included a multitude of workshops.Earth Day – For Earth Day, AWI brought Dr. Benjamin Hayes–Program Director, Watershed Sciences & Engineering at Bucknell University—to give a talk on “Leveraging Local Waterways for Curriculum & Stewardship.”Worlds of Work – Worlds of Work is a large annual industry fair for thousands of ninth graders to get inspiration about their future careers held at a Tuscaloosa community college.OLLI – For the second year in a row, AWI ran a four-week course for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute on “The World of Water!”WaterWorks – WaterWorks is a monthly lunch and learn series featuring both AWI affiliated faculty and guest speakers discussing a wide variety of water topics.World Water Day – AWI celebrated World Water Day by throwing a giant pizza party in the UA student center!
