Communications Specialist III
The Communications Specialist III writes and edits communications for a college, division, and/or the University under minimal supervision. Develops and implements plans, activities, and tactics to support the goals of assigned areas. Coordinates the production of materials and resources through a variety of platforms, including digital and physical mediums. Participates in planning and execution of special projects to support the assigned area’s overall development and marketing strategies.

Research Project Coordinator
The Research Project Coordinator supports the overall development of research project(s). Assists with project design, management, and implementation. Promotes the project and serves as liaison between the project and contacts internal and external to the University. May supervise students, provide general office assistance, create promotional materials, and assist in the development of other potential projects.

Postdoctoral Fellow
The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.

Water Node Operations Manager
The Water Node Operations Manager examines potential for practical use of satellite remote sensing data products in operational hydrologic forecasting and other applications. Processes satellite remote sensing data for evaluating and testing in water prediction applications. Uses statistical analysis, image processing, and geographic information system software. Investigates benefits of using satellite remote sensing data for water prediction and other applications. Engages stakeholders from the operational hydrologic forecasting community of NOAA and other organizations.
Associate Director Science and Research Operations
The Associate Director Science and Research Operations manages the science and research operations of a research center or institute. Aligns research with operational impact. Generates synergy across research activities. Supports proposal development and submission for selected funding opportunities. Meets with scientists and operational personnel of federal agencies, academic researchers, and the private sector regularly to identify priority areas for research, points of synergy, and advise course corrections of research to connect to operations and other research activities. Coordinates project reporting and support scientists to prepare annual progress reports and other reports.
